Calling All Followers!

Hello everyone!!!

I have a very exciting (well, I think it is :D) post for you all.

I was supposedly going to be participating in a photo marathon in Bath in a few weeks but sadly, due to practical issues, I can’t 😦 BUT! I am going on a mini holiday to my Grandma’s on the 30th of April for a week as a small break before my exams start.

So. I (my mum :P) had the fantastic idea of doing my own, little, private photo marathon for StableStoreys and the best bit is that you guys can get involved not only in one way but in TWO! *claps hands in excitement*

The website for the Bath photo marathon says:

You have 10h to take 20 photos following 20 themes in the correct order.

Basically, they give you 20 themes or briefs that you then have to respond to in your photographs. For example a theme could be: Circles to which I could respond to by taking a photograph of someone spinning around or of a merry-go-round or the theme could be: Peace and my photo would be of a canal. Dya get me?

Anyway! the first way that you guys can get involved (please do, this whole thing depends on you all. No pressure XD) is by commenting some themes for me to use. My plan is to take Fia along with me on her first holiday whilst her house is being built 😉 and I will use her to somehow respond to each theme. If you can think of 20 yourself, comment them all and I’ll either choose my favourites or I’ll take way more photos.

The second way for you to get involved is for you to all join in in your spare time. You don’t even have to do all 20, just do one! Maybe next year I could actually make this a proper thing… O_O

When I get back from my break, I will post the pictures on StableStoreys and you can all see how I interpreted your ideas 🙂

I’m really excited for this and I love the idea of asking you guys to come up with the themes. COMMUNITY TEAMWORK am I right?
